Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons of the historical drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. Apart from receiving critic praise, her work on the show earned six Emmy Award nominations under the best supporting actress category. The span of her career, which has spanned more than two decades has included appearances in the crime comedy series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. As a film actress her name has been praised for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: Prey in the Night Egg and American Woman. She has also provided voiceovers in animation films such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Her career began as a fashion model and worked in that field for many years prior to making her television debut with Undressed. The show gave her her first recognizable part as a character on the comedy show Beggars and Choosers. Following that, she was praised for her part in Firefly. Esquire magazine declared her to be the most attractive woman in America in 2010 and voted one of the sexiest women in the world.
